Neo Chip

The Neo Chip is Sabertrio’s version of a 1″ OD blade plug adaptor. The body is made from CNC machined acrylic and is designed to house both a 7x WS2812B LED PCB and a Sabertrio Neo Blade Connector that has a resistor already installed on it. By itself, the Neo Chip can be attached to any thick wall (3.2mm) 1″ OD blade plug, and when combined with the adaptor ring, it may then be attached to any thin wall (1.6mm) 1″ OD blade plug instead.

Important usage tips:

• Due to size variation between the Neo Chip and the blade plug, light sanding may be required to connect both parts together should the fit be too tight. On the other hand, a dab of clear adhesive may be required if the fit is too loose.
• The Neo Chip is designed to be semi-permanently attached to a blade plug to form an elegant single piece accessory. Therefore, we recommend NOT fully joining the Neo Chip to the blade plug until you are very certain that these two parts are meant to go together, and that the length of the blade plug is already correct. Trying to separate the Neo Chip from a blade plug may be difficult after being fully connected.
• Be careful when attaching the provided adaptor ring to the Neo Chip. It is very hard to remove once fully installed.
